In light of the current Covid-19 situationand the extended need for direct supplies locally, we are expanding our delivery service to support the local communityand offering home deliveries.

As a company, we are staying well informed of the developing situation and are following the advice and recommendations from the Government, Public Health Englandand the World Health Organisation to protect the safety of all our valued employees, customers and the wider community.

We already have the highest standards of food safety and personal hygiene in place and our food storage and distribution systems are certified by BRCGS as confirmation of our commitmentto providing food that is safe to eat and of the highest quality. To protect you and your food we will ensure that:

• Drivers are provided with clean uniform and disposable single use gloves to restrict the spread of any virus or bacteria
• Our vehicles are refrigerated, cleaned daily and equipped with hand sanitising wipes for drivers’ use
• All food handling staff receive training in personal hygiene and, at this time, are reminded of the need for constant hand washing in line with government guidelines
• We continue to source fresh produce from reputable suppliers with whom we have long and successful trading relationships

Throughout this time, we will be focusing our efforts on getting fresh produce out to the community as well as maintaining deliveries to our existing customers, many of whom will be providing valuable care and medical support to those in need.  Our supply partners are currently operating business as usual so we are confident that we can maintain our supply throughout these challenging times with minimal disruption.
